The Championship Off-Road season finally kicked off over the weekend at ERX Motor Park, and Vision Wheel athletes took home plenty of hardware. The father-son duo of Johnny and CJ Greaves, Keegan Kincaid, Andrew Carlson, and Bikeman Performance’s Jason Luburgh combined for four race wins and 11 podiums across the sport’s four premier classes—Pro 4, Pro 2, Pro Mod SXS, and Pro Stock SXS.
CJ Greaves may have been the star of the weekend. After adding the Pro Mod SXS class to his existing Pro 4 and Pro Stock efforts for 2020, Greaves swept both races in the opener, backing up those victories with a first and a third in Pro Stock and a third place in Saturday’s Pro 4 race. Both Pro 4 rounds had two Vision athletes on the podium; on Friday, it was Johnny Greaves and Carlson in second and third, while Carlson joined CJ in second on Saturday.
Defending champion Keegan Kincaid revealed an all-new look for the 2020 season in the Pro 2 category, and kicked off his quest for another crown with a win on Friday and runner-up finish on Saturday. Bikeman Performance driver Jason Luburgh, meanwhile, put two Vision athletes on the podium in Friday’s Pro Stock race, capturing his first podium of the season with a solid third place result.
