BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400 week has officially arrived in Las Vegas, with the annual Mint 400 Vehicle Parade taking over the Las Vegas Strip on Wednesday night to announce the return of the Great American Off-Road Race. Hundreds of the top names in off-road racing, led by off-road racing icon and 2024 Mint 400 Grand Marshal Ivan Stewart, descended upon the Strip to lead fans to Fremont Street East, home of Wednesday night’s Mint 400 Kickoff Party presented by The Beast Unleashed at Atomic Liquors and Thursday’s Mint 400 Off-Road Festival.
“The Mint 400 Vehicle Parade produces some of the coolest visuals of the entire Mint 400 week each year,” said Mint 400 CEO Matt Martelli. “Showing off all the amazing vehicles to compete in this year’s Great American Off-Road Race to the whole city of Las Vegas is always a treat, but it was even more of an honor to have a legend like Ivan Stewart leading us down the Strip this year. Now that Mint 400 week has officially arrived, we hope everyone who saw the Vehicle Parade will join us at the Off-Road Festival on Fremont Street tomorrow before following us out to Primm for the race weekend!”
From fire-breathing Unlimited Trucks to professional UTVs, vintage off-road racers to military vehicles, motorcycles to sportsman rides, and everything in between, the Mint 400 Vehicle Parade is the ultimate showcase of all things Mint 400. Tens of millions of dollars of machinery is on display in the annual parade, which was paced this year by former Mint 400 winner Stewart, Team Camburg/Magnaflow’s Kyle Jergensen in the #222 Unlimited Truck SPEC ride, and Christian Sourapas in the #6 Nasty Beast Hard Tea Unlimited Truck.
The list of prominent figures in the sport of off-road racing didn’t stop there. Defending Mint 400 Unlimited Race winner Eric Hardin headlined a list of additional Unlimited Truck participants that included stars like Rob MacCachren, BJ Baldwin, Harley Letner, Steve Olliges, and the new Honda Off-Road truck of Ethan Ebert. Joining them were names like 2024 Dakar Rally stage winner Sara Price, Nick Isenhouer, Blake Wilkey, Team Brenthel, Terrible Herbst Motorsports, and a significant number of motorcycle, sportsman, vintage, and military class racers showcasing the diversity of vehicles that take part in the Mint 400 each year.
Following the Mint 400 Vehicle Parade, fans were able to join the biggest names in the sport at Atomic Liquors on Fremont Street for the Mint 400 Kickoff Party presented by The Beast Unleashed. Attendees were able to pick up their six-packs of Belching Beaver’s Tropical Terps IPA, the Official Beer of the 2024 Mint 400, before anyone else, while also rubbing elbows with racers and other off-road enthusiasts.
BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400 festivities continue on Thursday with the Mint 400 Off-Road Festival, an all-day, free-to-attend celebration of all things off-road on Fremont Street East. The Mint 400 Off-Road Festival runs from 9AM to 6PM and will play host to the biggest names in off-road racing showing off their latest products, while more than 400 race vehicles from all classes will go through tech inspection and contingency.
