22-year-old Conner McMullen is a second-generation off-road racer. His father Kevin McMullen was so passionate about off-road racing, he started an off-road repair and fabrication shop to create the opportunity to race more with his customers. That passion for off-road racing was passed on to Connor who started racing at just 5 years old in trophy karts. After a solid 11 years of racing trophy karts in short-course, he moved up to Class 10 and transferred the skills he had been developing in short-course to the desert.
Conner immediately proved he was going to be a threat at every race winning The Parker 425 twice, Silver State 300 twice, Vegas to Reno, Parker short course race, and the Laughlin Desert Classic 4 times, all culminating in back-to-back BITD Class 10 Championships in 2019 and 2020. Conner moved up to Class 1 and began methodically building his resume by winning multiple races and championships.
In 2022 he got the call all off-road racers hope for. Brenthel Industries hired him as a paid driver for their Unlimited Truck Spec and put him in the stacked field of racers. Not only did Conner shine, he won multiple races and finished his rookie year winning both the BITD and Legacy Racing Championships.
Now Conner is preparing for the biggest test of his life, The legendary BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400. If Conner can secure a win at The Mint 400 he will undoubtedly get the recognition he deserves and push his off-road racing carrier to the next level.
